Overview

  • The EPCHEMTECH whistleblowing system site allows you to anonymously report employee misconduct and corrupt activities. Reports submitted through this system are used for inspection, audit, and other necessary actions.
  • The whistleblower’s anonymity is strictly protected.
  • Reports are logged by the responsible officer and processed in sequence according to the internal guidelines of EPCHEMTECH.

  • Please provide the details of the report in a clear and concise manner, following the 5W1H principle. If possible, attach any supporting documents or evidence to help expedite the investigation process.
  • In addition, please be informed that a minor complaint, a report with unclear targets and contents, or a report determined to be baseless slander against another person cannot be registered or processed.

Handling Process

  • Registration: When you register a report under your name or anonymously, it will be received by the officer in charge.
  • Review of Details: The content of the report is reviewed, and the relevant department(s) is(are) identified.
  • Investigation Commencement: An investigation is initiated based on the report, following internal processes. (If additional information is required, you may be contacted via the contact information provided.)
  • Investigation Completion: After completion of the fact check, etc., the investigation is closed.

Notes for Whistleblowers

  • Please be informed that a minor complaint, a report that is not associated with corrupt activities, a report of which the target and content are not clear, or a report that is determined to be baseless slander of another person cannot be registered or processed.
  • After confirming the above and ensuring that the report does not contain false information or baseless slander of another person, the whistleblower shall fill out the report form according to his or her conscience.

Report Type Selection

  • Illegal requests, acceptance of money or entertainment, unfair budget execution, unfair trade practices, etc.
  • Exerting de facto influence derived from job authority, position, etc. to make unreasonable demands beyond the scope of one's job
  • Any act that violates the fairness of personnel and hiring
  • Accepting money or valuables, accepting entertainment or conveniences, using job-related information for personal use, embezzlement or misappropriation of public funds, unauthorized leakage of company assets, etc.
  • Sexual harassment in the workplace, sexual assault, unreasonable gender discrimination, personal work during work hours, unreasonable work coercion, inappropriate business trips, etc.

If a report is categorized as a whistleblowing disclosure according to the Public Interest Whistleblower Protection Act or the Act on the Prevention of Corruption and the Establishment and Management of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission in light of its content and requirements, special attention is paid to protecting the confidentiality of the whistleblower during the investigation and processing of the report. The personal information of the person subject to the whistleblowing disclosure and the details of the report are not disclosed until an act in violation of public interest or an act of corruption is discovered as a result of the investigation.

Please note that a report cannot be modified or deleted once it is submitted.
